Your account, your records and your payment are protected.
Here is how we keep students, families and counselors safe, in plain words.
Paying is safe
When you buy a plan, you pay on Stripe’s own secure page, a payment system used by businesses all over the world. We never see or store your card number.
Only you can get into your account
Your password is kept by a secure sign-in system, and we never see it. Want extra protection? Turn on two-step sign-in: after your password, you type a code from an app on your phone. Passwords that have leaked elsewhere are refused, and a sign-in that looks very unusual is stopped, and you get an email about it.
Your information is stored safely
Everything is scrambled on its way to us and while it is stored, on secure servers in the United States. We make a backup every day. The photos and files you upload are private and open only for you.
A student’s record is private
A student’s record belongs to that student. It is shared only when they choose to: a link for a counselor, a parent they invite, a verified record for a school. They can stop sharing at any time. There are no public profiles, no ads, and we never sell anyone’s information.
We watch for trouble
Every request is checked on our side, not just on your screen. If an account keeps trying to open things that are not its own, we are alerted within the hour. Our code is checked for known weaknesses before every update.
Your data stays yours
Download everything you recorded, or delete your account, any time from the Account page. If you stop paying, your records stay for up to three years, and we email you before anything is removed.
Tell us, and we will look into it
Email us what you saw and when. We read every message and reply. Please check only your own account, never someone else’s.
